Pecha " The Treasure Teachings of Namchag Tsasum Lingpa"
Vol.2 The Pecha Project is a project entrusted to Gochen Tulku
Sang-ngag Tenzin Rinpoche to preserve and spread the teachings
in the Tsasum Lingpa text. There are twenty three volumes
in the Tsasum Lingpa text. Following is a letter from Gochen
Tulku Sang-ngag Tenzin Rinpoche describing the nature and
importance of this project.
Summer 2001
My Dear Dharma Friends,
At present, I am the primary lineage holder of the great
terton, Tsasum Lingpa. Therefore, I have been particuarly
encouraged to spread these teachings and see that they
increase. In this effort, Khyabje Dudjom Rinpoche and Kyhabje
Khyentse Rinpoche have both written letters emphasizing
the importance of reprinting these very rare texts.
There
were very few copies existing in the world, but I have
now obtained all 23 volumes. During the past few years,
with the help of a few monks and nuns, we have entered
them all onto the computer. The first of the 23 volumes
has been sent to press for 500 compies to be made.
We will make 500 copies of each volume. the cost for printing,
shipping, and labor is $1,750.00 for each 500 copies.
Now I am asking for your help in bringing this project to
completion. This is an opportunity for you to contribute
towards preserving these very important and profound texts
and to generate vast amounts of merit. Any amount of financial
support that you can offer to this will be helpful.
If you
sponsor one volume of printing costs, you will receive as
a gift all 23 volumes when the project is
completed.
These text will not be for sale; rather, they are being
reprinted to be distributed to the centers of learning
throughout the world where they will be studied and put
into practice.
This project will ensure that these Tsasum Lingpa texts
will endure and the teachings will spread. Fulfilling this
goal
is my fervent aspiration.
Sincerely,
Gochen Tulku, Sang-ngag Tenzin

Letter from Ven. Dilge Khyentse
Regarding the Pecha Project
As indicated in the above letter from Gochen Tulku Sang-ngag
Tenzin Rinpoche, Khyabje Dudjom Rinpoche and Khyabje Khyentse
Rinpoche have both written letters emphasizing the importance
of reprinting these rare texts. Following is the letter written
by Khyabje Khyentse Rinpoche.
REQUEST
TO ALL DEVOTEES
The undisputed great terton Namchak Tsa Sum Lingpa, an emanation
of Nupchen Sangye Yeshe, left 21 volumes of profound, revealed
teachings (termas) out of which only a small fraction was
incorporated into the collection of the Rinchen Terzod.
Gochen Tulku Sangnak Tenzin, who holds the complete lineage
of these termas, and who has the books in his possession,
greatly wishes to reprint these extremely rare scriptures.
H.H. Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche had stressed several times
in the past the importance of saving and spreading these
teachings which have nearly disappeared. Gochen Tulku also
wishes to establish a branch of Dudul Sangnak Ling, his
monastery in Tibet.
All devotees are requested to help these projects as best
they can, and may be certain that they are thus contributing
to the preservation of the Buddha Dharma.

Letter Three
Following is the letter written by Khyabje Dudjom Rinpoche
To the supreme Tulku Sangnak Tenzin:
I am very happy that you have been victorious over the forces
who are enemies of the teachings and have come to India
and Nepal. This decrepit, old man received your letter
and has been considering it. It does not matter where you
stay, in Darjeeling, India or in Nepal; both are excellent.
There will be no problems for you.
Now the time has come, in accordance with your previous
aspiration prayers and intentions, to revive and continue
the Dharma
of the great Terton Namchak Tsa Sum Lingpa. Be unwavering
in your intention to fulfill this.
I pray that it will not be long before we meet. With offerings
of aspiration prayers and verses of auspiciousness, The old man Dudjom
