With the constant influx
of the new monks and nuns from Bhutan and various parts of
India, and also the ongoing current political disturbances
in Nepal, Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche has founded a new dharma
center in India known as Ewam India, it is a registered Buddhist
charitable trust based at Siliguri in the north-eastern part
of the India. It is founded in the year 2005, currently only
the boundary wall has been finished for the new plot of land.
Ewam India project includes a monastery or nunnery, a charitable
school which gives modern education and for the preservation
sacred Tibetan tradition and language. It also includes free
clinic for the poor and needy ones. Ewam India project will
be started soon.
