A very auspicious day early Summer in 2002, Rinpoche first visit Hong Kong and set up the Ewam Hong Kong Centre which is now incorporated under Hong Kong Company Ordinance as a charitable institution or trust of a public character, is exempt from tax under the Inland Revenue Ordinance. Our main objects are to promote the understanding, study, practice, education and enlightenment in the teachings of the Buddhist faith.And, with the help of Rinpoche’s brother Dr. Lama from Ewam Taiwan, traveling from Taiwan and Hong Kong all the times to teach mostly Rinpoche’s Family Namchag Linage, benefiting all people of Hong Kong. Buggic Dakching Wangmon couple introduced by a friend, have the honor to meet Tulku Rinpoche at his first visit to Hong Kong.

She had very strong faith to Rinpoche and his Namchag Linage. 2003 she was appointed by Rinpoche as his representative to teach the Namchag Preliminary Practice and in charged of the Hong Kong Centre. Firstly Buggic had made a big wish to help those suffering from Cancer and all diseases. She tried to learn a dharma that can help those poor patients. She prayed very strongly to her Guru. Rinpoche with his great compassion promised to give her the Enpowerment of the Guru Drapko Padma Trakthung. This Casket that Defeats Disease is the very previous terma revealed by the Namchag Terton Tsa Sum Lingpa. Buggic began to teach and practice this dharma with a few dharma sisters and brothers at home and until Jan 2004, Rinpoche’s second visit he gave us the Wang and teaching of this Padma Trakthung , almost 300 hundreds people had this empowerment over half are cancer patients and their relatives. September 2004, Rinpoche’s third visit, he gave us the Green Tara’ Wang. More than hundred people had taken refugee. Now every two weeks, we have this Dhama teaching and practicing. (All are welcomed to join us.) September 2005. Khenpo Ngawang Gelek, Rinpoche’s youngest brother had visited Hong Kong too. He had given us the Vajar Satva Wang too. He had revisited us also at the end of February 2006.

Khenpo Ngawang Gelek, Dr. Lama and Ewam Hong Kong had made a project called “To Generate the Bodhicitta” . We request people and our Sangha to save coins everyday and delicate their offering merit at the same time. Everyone here in Hong Kong is very busy., and, not everyone have time to do their prayer or know how to pray, but it is more easy for them to know they are doing good things to help others by just saving a coin everyday and made their delication. No matter young or old, Buddhist or not. They are welcomed to join us. We will collect all money once a year to support Tibet or Nepal children or the poor. With big wishes that all beings will have enlightment at the very soon. Hoping that Ewam Hong Kong Centre can help more and we need also your support!.
